This week, Wikipedia reached 100 Wikipedias with 1,000 articles, approximately a year after the 100th Wikipedia reached 100 articles (see archived story). The most recent Wikipedia to reach 1,000 articles was the Wikipedia in Venetian.

This article claims that the Venetian Wikipedia was the latest to reach 1,000 articles, but it has 3,509 articles, and the Wikipedia with the fewest articles but still over 1,000 is Northern Sami? -- Mithent 17:01, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
