WikiProject Report: History

WikiProject History is a WikiProject dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of any topic related to history. Its project page originally served as a general discussion forum for ideas on the style guidelines for articles within the project's scope. Currently, it has 74 members. In addition, any editors that are members of any of the history WikiProject's subprojects are also considered to be members.

The project was also recently expanded into wikibooks:Wikibooks:WikiProject History.

Project coordination

Serving as points-of-contact for any issues with the History project and taking care of the administrative and procedural aspects of the effort, the project's coordinators are Phoenix-wiki (talk · contribs) and Wandalstouring (talk · contribs). The project hopes that there will be an election for new project coordinators when it gains enough members.

I didn't create this WikiProject. These ancient article histories are not correct; when we switched to the new software in 2002 many old article versions were combined into one. I probably made some minor edit to the project page at just the right time. AxelBoldt (talk) 19:39, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
