In brief
- MEDRS discussions: The talk page of Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources (medicine), a guideline covering what is and isn't a reliable medical source, has received many comments in the last month or so. A few RfCs have been started on the scope of the guideline; the main discussion is here.
- Non-admin arbitrators? Since several ArbCom candidates are non-admins, editors have asked whether non-admin ArbCom members should be granted the admin toolkit.
- An ongoing struggle: Harassment has plagued Wikipedia and Wikimedia projects for years. The Wikimedia Foundation opened a discussion with the community regarding harassment on Wikimedia projects a few weeks ago; Wikimedians can submit their ideas, experiences, and proposals here.
Updates
Updates on the discussions covered in the last discussion report:
- BASC disbanded: The motion for the disbandment of the Ban Appeals Subcommittee has passed. (More information, in the Signpost, can be found here.)

BASC
Non admins on Arbcom
The story should have said non-admin ArbCom Members, despite the signpost no one is suggesting that we should dish out admin rights to all and any ArbCom candidates. Though that could flush out dozens more candidates and it would certainly solve the longterm decline in admin numbers if anyone who ran for arbcom automatically made admin.
